Mykhaylo Mudryk scores the winning goal for Ukraine

Mykhaylo Mudryk the scorer of the winning goal against the Icelandic national team, commented on Ukraine’s victory (2:1) and the team’s qualification for the Euros.

“The emotions are indescribable. I’m very happy for all our fans. We’ll continue to strive to delight you with our game and results,” said the midfielder.

Mudryk highlighted the atmosphere, which greatly contributed to the team:

“Both in the locker room and on the field, there was a very positive atmosphere. I believe it played a significant role in our victory. As of now, this goal against Iceland is one of the most important in my career,” he added.

Mudryk’s goal against Iceland was only his second for the national team.
